Richard was absolutely fantastic. He was always incredibly calm and relaxed while also continually challenging me. He was able to strike the perfect balance between always letting me know my faults and areas for improvement without ever making me feel ashamed or overwhelmed. He created an environment where I was able to safely make mistakes and learn from them. Over the course of our lessons, I felt a huge amount of growth in both my skills and confidence behind the wheel. Richard was always punctual and reliable, and he allowed flexibility around our lessons where needed. I truly could not have asked for a better teacher and I am so thankful to have had his support.

My experience learning to drive with Richard was not only successful but also very rewarding. He is very easy to get along with and his calm and clear approach to teaching always left me feeling I had improved upon my skills whenever the lesson had ended. I always felt safe in the car with Richard. The order he taught his syllabus never made me feel out of my depth. He was also great encouragement whilst trying things for the first time or navigating parts of the course I found difficult . I would highly recommend Richard to anyone looking to learn to drive in a favourable car for beginners with a brilliant instructor. Thank you Richard.

Richard is a brilliant instructor, very easy to get along with, he’s very calm mannered and willing to take on all the new challenges with a new learner. With Richard’s help I was able to pass my driving test. His car is an easy drive very light and great size for new learners. He also keeps noted paperwork at the start and end of every lesson and discusses improvements and achievements and keeps it written for following lessons. I’ve been through many instructors and none of them have kept my progress record of improvements. It’s so much easier to see what you can do to improve when it’s kept on record. Thank you Richard.

Richard is an amazing driving teacher. He was patient, kind and easily adapted to my learning style. If you are currently looking for driving lessons I would 100% recommend Richard. Definitely makes learning to drive an easier and pleasant experience.

My instructor, Richard showed such enthusiasm and positivity throughout my lessons. You can feel the belief he had in me. He puts everything into getting the best results and you feel as though he is genuinely supporting you every step of the way. Definitely recommend.

After a wobbly start with driving instructors I eventually met Richard. He is always happy and friendly he explains things in a way that you understand and doesn't make you feel silly if you do something wrong. I am now a more confident and relaxed driver and would definitely recommend him to anyone who wants to learn to drive.

I had Richard as my driving instructor, he was friendly and supportive every lesson giving me tips on how to improve or do things differently when necessary. We were always working on what I felt I needed to improve on. He has been a really great instructor.

I received driving lessons from Richard after which I passed my driving test on the first try. I would recommend him as an instructor for any learner drivers. Richard explains everything clearly and makes you feel at ease to ask any questions. I also benefited from run down chats at the start and end of lessons to discuss your specific goals and areas of improvement each week. He will give you space self evaluate on your progress and then offer his professional advice and a lesson structure. I felt very prepared going into my driving test and if you choose Richard as an instructor you will too.
